About Golf Course Scout

What it is. A directory of golf courses in Texas, Florida and Arizona: 1821 courses on the map, 470 of them with full details and their own page, in 43 cities with three or more. It is for golfers looking for a course to play this week or on a trip.

Where the facts come from. The map and the course locations come from OpenStreetMap. Holes, par, yardage, designer, green fees and what is at the course are read from each course's own website, and every fact is stored with the page it came from and the date we read it. A course gets its own page only when it has a phone or website, a hole count and at least three published details. Courses with less stay as a name in the city list until they publish more or claim the listing.

What is not here. No ratings, no reviews, no slope or course rating, and nothing from Google's listings. We do not book tee times: every course page links to the course's own website, which is where you book. Green fees are "from" prices and change by day and season.

Photos. The photos are licensed stock showing the kind of place, never the course itself, until an owner sends their own. Every course page keeps a slot for the owner's photos.

For courses. Claiming a listing is free: correct the facts, add photos and a tee time link. Featured spots on a city page are paid, three per city. Claim your course.
